Financial aid is available for qualified students through the U.S. Department of Education and various private financial institutions. The U.S. Department of Education provides grants, loans, and work-study opportunities to eligible students attending participating colleges or career schools. The Department is the source of nearly 70 percent of all student aid awarded in the U.S. each year. The vast majority of the Department's aid is not based on academic merit. Sponsored by three major beauty industry associations: the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS), the Cosmetology Advancement Foundation (CAF), and the Beauty and Barber Supply Institute (BBSI). ACE Grants are the first ever industry-wide effort to encourage highly motivated and qualified individuals to join the world of cosmetology.

- FAFSA – is a government funded Federal Student Aid program that ensures all eligible individuals can benefit from federally funded or federally guaranteed financial assistance for education beyond high school.
